ktlovelyRight, so, it's Friday morning, albeit very early. In about seven hours, I have to be doing a puppet skit in front of a hundred plus elementary kids, in Spanish, with Andy Barber (who needs a belt, btw.) I'm also supposed to intro it, and I have no clue what to say. Me=scared. It'll be worse before the chapel and then afterwards I'll be like, "Why was I so scared, that was easy!" But right now, I'm terrified.
I ordered the charmuese satin from Fabric.com. 3 yards of ivory to line my sleeves, and 2 yards of cranberry to make a wrap. I have to ask about using the credit card before I order from FFC. Also, I took a couple tucks in the front side piece of the tan linen mockup, and now it fits very well. The back of the armhole will need a little bit of enlarging, and the shoulder seam now needs to be moved up an inch, but THOSE I can handle. I wound up taking a bigish dart in the front that ate up an inch to two inches out of the armscye, so it's perfectly logical.
