The next time I say, "I have a few errands to run," someone kindly bash me over the head, bind me, gag me, and stuff me in my closet til I come to my senses? ARGH! Anyway, damages:

4 more yards maroon homespun, more than enough for the rest of the Hobbit, which is going to double as faire wear and whimsical school wear.
1 pair of khaki pants, goodwilled for Dad's hobbit costume
2.5 yards slate blue cotton stuff for Holly's Eowyn
5 yards gold cord for said Eowyn
2 yards sheer sparkly white stuff to mount the beading on for the Requiem. Not silver, but close e-dang-nough. SO SICK of silver sheer, I quit and just bought the white stuff.
1 tube of eyelash adhesive for ear application

I am almost flat broke. I think I may have $3 left somewhere.

My poor, poor wallet. I'm so bad...*sigh* I feel horribly guilty right now.

Got bored this evening while the family was out being sociable at some chili dinner the church was having (I didn't go, I don't like chili and I'm not good at socializing) and painted up one of my ears. I just used regular liquid foundation, colored with blush and brown eyeshadow. The brown eyeshadow wasn't so great of an idea, since I couldn't find the color I really wanted--that little pot has gone AWOL apparently. Still, it looks very nice, I think. I really want to try it on with glue and everything but I'm afraid to wreck it. I suppose I'd best do it soon, though, while I still have time to order another pair...no, I don't have money. Remember, Katie? You were a goober and spent every last cent you had this afternoon. Anyway, I think it looks very nice, it's almost the same color as my skin, a little dark for my ears, but I'll have the makeup blending from the prosthetic to my skin when I wear them for real. Maybe needs a little more blush on the tips, because that's where ears are pink insead of skin tone, right? Anyway, they look good.
