Sorry I haven't replied to much of anybody. I'm a bit fuzzy around the edges right now. Also known as, "I'm fried but hiding it the best I can."

Here's a fun game: You tell me something that I don't know about you.
Here's mine: I sometimes tape fabric to my wall to measure lengths, because the floor in my room is not very big and not very clean. In fact, I have some maroon cotton homespun taped to the wall beside my bed right now. I think I'll take a picture to document my dorkdom.

Mrs. Kaufield showed Wuthering Heights after school today for extra credit. We had to answer some questions as we went along. All in all, it wasn't that bad of a movie. It could've been a lot more interesting and faithful to the book, but it wasn't awful. The costumes were great. I got all excited about the 18th century gowns the ladies all wore in the beginning. They had two or three scenes at the end (eighteen years later...blah blah blah...) with Cathy Linton in Regency fashions, but then when she came to live at WH, she wore Catherine Earnshaw-Linton (her mother)'s old frocks. I have to admit, they were more prettier. Anita hated one of the Regency gowns in particular. "Yeah, it's not that nice," I told her, "But very correct for the period. It was called the Regency." Suzi asked how I knew all that. I smiled. "I'm a dork." Everybody laughed in that 'yep that's our Katie and she knows all sorts of weird stuff but it's all good' kind of way.

I did a bunch of college stuff today, got a call from Michigan Tech, and decided once again that I don't like colleges. They're too antsy for my money.

I feel icky. Kirk(h)off. (In joke from GVSU Library study night [typo: stud night. eww].)
