~detached the skirt, since it was three inches longer in front than in back, urgh.
~Constructed the bodice lining, sans back zipper, and sewed it into the neck of the outer bodice.

I have to get it checked for the banquet tomorrow so I think I'll do a little handwork on it tonight and take it in without the skirt, since all they'll have to check is the neckline anyway.



I did largely nothing but sew and shop today. Holly and I went to Wal-Mart to get her makeup for Saturday, and I bought a pretty necklace (with earrings) at Target that I plan on wearing to Junior-Senior. I know I was complaining about how icky I look in white when we picked the white graduation gowns, but I'm making Eowyn's WW for Jr/Sr. It's more cream or "eggshell," like the fabric said, rather than sterile white anyway. I'm not going to recreate Eowyn's jewelry, though. Nope. I'm wearing gold and garnets with that dress, because I love garnets and I can.

Anyway, I'm off.
