Mrs. Grant hugged Mrs. Barber and she started to cry. I wasn't the only one having a rough day. We got homework in almost every class; Andy was less than pleased to hear this. I didn't--couldn't--say anything to poor Mrs. Barber or to him or the rest of his family...the best I could do was to look out for him from a distance and make sure he had all the handouts and notes he was supposed to. More behind the scenes ministry, I guess. Sometimes it feels so inadequate.
